The brief
CASIO's 2025 musical-instruments campaign in Brazil needed to do more than show product shots — it had to let people feel the instruments. The brief was an interactive campaign site with rhythm-game mechanics and real instrument sounds, engaging enough to drive social sharing across the campaign window.
Architecture
An immersive React + TypeScript front end where the Web Audio API drives real-time sound sampling and GSAP runs the animated product reveals and rhythm-game feedback. The challenge is keeping audio tight to the beat and animation smooth at the same time, so the interaction feels responsive instead of laggy — on the mobile devices most visitors arrive on.
System
- Web Audio API for low-latency sound — instrument samples trigger on the beat, so the rhythm game feels tight instead of delayed.
- A GSAP-driven animation timeline — product reveals and game feedback run on a controlled timeline synced to the audio rather than fighting it.
- A lightweight React front end tuned for the campaign — fast first load and smooth interaction on mobile.
What shipped
